Glad your OK, I remember getting hauled to the surface by someones SMB a while back. As i was going up i just keep thinking "hear comes the pain" But fortunately it didn't. Then there was another a very uncomfortable night in the Aqua hotel wondering when the symptoms would start.

Very scary day, took me a while to get over the feeling. You sound a lot more philosophical about it than I was

Since then i have been keen to be the last person to send up the blob and always facing and slightly below my buddy when he does

That's a fair point - i tend to make sure my buddy is in full view when mine goes up, and tend to watch them when they send theirs up. However, with yesterdays viz it would have been entirely possible to have been a meter or two away and be completely out of vision.

I have to admit as I was heading up I did wonder what sort of shape I would be in by the time I got to the top, strangly I didn't go for my knife to cut away the blob which I should have. More importantly I had changed my routine, normally if I am on a wreck I go to the top of the wreck, anchor myself there and then send up the blob so that if something went wrong I'd have something to hang on to, If I had done that this time Paul couldn't have been below me. We learn from our mistakes, well the ones that don't kill us. I did spend half the night checking myself for symptoms but I'm completely clear today too.

I had a great dive. 32m /42 mins. Viz wasn't great but its been worse

Lost my buddy on the ascent which was a bit careless. She did a slightly faster ascent than me.

By the time I got back on the boat there was one of you on O2, another refusing to incase the reg had been puked in, a few divers throwing up and the rest looking very green lol

Paul made a good call on the weather

I had a great day - really nice to get back in the sea
