| Glad you enjoyed it, Pete. Of course, you missed out on the post dive tea and cakes because there was some fish feeding going on The weather was pants - I always worry more about getting back into a boat than jumping in the water in sea like the, but the position of the lift (midway down the starboard side) makes it easy as the boat offers a bit of protection. I buddied Uwila (as my planned buddy 'had a cold'), and we decided after about 10 minutes that we had seen all we were likely to see and canned it, taking the easy option and returned to the shot as we were still at slack. It was nice to see YD'ers I haven't seen in a while, and meet new ones. Thanks to Marianne for organising it, Uwila for being a lovely buddy. Peebee for standing between me and the wind & spray and everyone else fo contributing to a Grand Day Out.

| A great day out despites being freezing cold on the way back. I got colder than I did ice-diving in the Arctic! I've never managed to get out of my kit so fast - an overwhelming urge to chunder being the motivation

| I have no idea who it was... All I know is that I had to keep sticking my fingers in my ears and singing so I couldn't hear anything

| What a great day Brighton Diver 2 is a pretty impressive boat, well set out and with a good lift that goes nice and deep into the water, and plenty of deck space. Considering it is only 90 miles from home to Brighton (probably the closest bit of 'diveable' sea to me), then I'll definately be back later this year. Anyway, was good to just get in the sea, and see some old friends, and hopefully make a few new ones. I quite enjoyed the rough sea, but I thankfully don't suffer from sea sickness. The tea was good too, by far the most important part of a dive boat's 'service'. I was intending to leave straight away, but got persuaded to stay for a drink in the club. Unfortunately, i had elected to go home in my Arctics, so ended up walking around the Marina looking like a cross between an overweight ballerina and Skeletor. Not a good look... I also managed to aquire a dive related injury - I have bruises all down my side and sore legs - but that was my fault for deciding to take my whole mountain of dive kit on the boat, needing 3 trips up and down the pontoon to carry it all - what the hell was i thinking? Oh, and cheers to Marianne for organising it all - much appreciated.

| Blimey Peebee glad you are OK after the exocet ascent! Sounds nasty and more than a bit scary. I can't say I'm jealous of the vis, the cold and the hurling but nice to hear you all had a grand day out!
