No idea what the water temperature is right now but in my experience it's usually a tad cooler, maybe one degree, than further east in the Channel. The viz on the other hand is often much better.

If you dive out of Mountbatten, you can park for free too; unlike Weymouth.

I love diving out of Plymouth.
