Was at NDAC today - absolutely packed but despite that the vis away from the usual shallow attractions was very good - water even had a blue tinge. Im guessing 6-8m or so shallower than 30m away from the plane/helicopter.

Waited about 30 mins for gas due to the number of people but was half expecting that.

Anyway hopefully im in the sea tomorrow for a change if i can remember how to work a boat.

Good to see you as well Andrew, and now you know that me and Fletch are the dragon slayers of Stoney. (Well sort of)
I was in water fairly early with Richie and though the vis was a bit variable we managed to find the new attractions including a swim through the aircraft cockpit. I notice all the pilot's engine controls are still in working order, (for how long though? ) Hope nobody tries to spidge them. Found one of the new helicopters which is still well equipped.
Also had a play on the motorbike at the side of the Mondeo.

This is the big difference between Chepstow and Soney....

Stoney just stands still and takes the money... Chepstow is always trying to improve, they put new things in the water... update there compressor... and even say "please" on their notices.

The last thing Stoney put in was the APC and that was the first thing since I started back diving again...

I wasnt overly upset about a 30min wait anyway. Its enough time to grab food or get changed and load the car but any improvement is welcome.

Chepstow spent a while of standing still and not really doing a lot but the last year and a bid they seem to have got their act together and are improving the place in noticeable chunks so well done to them.

All they need now is an enormous water heater and some sort of silt pump to guarantee 30c water and 20m vis.
