Trip Reports: Discuss Anyone been to NDC Chepstow today..? in the Trips, Spaces and Coastguard Information forums: There was another Rapid ascent there on Sunday from 26m, needed an airlift!! (to the pot i presume!) As usual ...

There was another Rapid ascent there on Sunday from 26m, needed an airlift!! (to the pot i presume!)

As usual the NDAC Staff were superb and efficient in there rescue skills.

Another wake up call about the dangers of our beloved sport!!

Interesting as normally local news at least picks these things up but 2 days later not a mention anywhere even in the local rags or online.

Given the lack of follow up news stories anywhere im assuming that it was a precaution only and no real injury resulted (as THAT would have made the news).
