| My very exciting dive trip report I haven't been in the sea for 3 whole months. The kit gremlins and repair people have been out to get me (I'm not paranoid, it's TRUE). Anyhoo, managed to get a space on Cutlass this morning for a pleasant rehydration bimble. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing and the kite surfers were travelling faster than my car on the way over to Portland. So.... I have a nice new mask and a newly glued neck seal. I'm expecting the mask to fog and flood and the neck seal to leak. I get the usual "turn that bluddy suit down a shade" from Smudge followed by "you're going to spring a leak" to fill me with confidence as I climb aboard his lovely new boat for the first time as a punter. Fortunately I see the smiling face of the lovely Chris Ringrose who agrees to "go down with me" and drag me back dripping if it all goes FUBAR. Summer gloves on to fettle and practice - big mistake, god it's only 9 degrees and I am such a girl when it comes to being cold. The Countess was not possible due to chop and wind so we chugged along to the jolly old Dredger which was like Picadilly Circus with trainees kicking up the weed, sand and muck. Never mind, in we go. Hooray, I am dry. Hooray, my mask is ok (although after half a tube of toothpaste I have rather fresh and minty eyeballs). A quick "cheers mate" to Chris and I'm off happy as larry and relaxed as a happy thing saying "hello spider crab, hello wrass" I had a lovely time and was back on the boat just saying how nice it was to not have a leaky suit when my weezle got drenched in spray and the heavens opened. The boat was almost full of girls huddled in the cabin drinking tea and hogging the heat, Smudge moaned his legs were barbequed and weren't we warm enough yet? Mark our deck bitch was lovely and smiley and a great time was had by all. That's my exciting dive report. Cutlass is lovely and my new Oceanic Mini Shadow(for ickle faces) was the bees knees. xxx

| We were nearby you on Dive Time, also patronising the dredger. It was drier in the water than on the boat!
