Great report lou,

Nothing much to add but only to say it was a great weekend and great intro to sea diving for me, thanks to all for the organisation and good company.

The Scylla was ace and a must to do again. Thanks to lou, paul and Ian for buddying with me over the weekend and helping to add to my confidence.

The Kent reel was just grand, a great purchase. How all i have to do is learn how to stop hitting the bottom like the mentioned bag of cement every time i go to use it!

See you at the club

Ben

"We must have hovered for a few minutes just staring at it,"

Lou, thanks also for making my buoyancy control sound better than it usually is!

Ben, stop doing yourself down. The thing to practice that I mentioned yesterday will be a bonus! (mid water reel deployment). You looked fine to me, my weighting was a little light towards the end!

As for the ray, if your bouyancy wasn't good, it wouldn't have hung around for as long as it did. If anything, it was the other group's silty feet that stirred our viz up!

Salt - Guideline Daily Amount

Hi Lou

You need to be aware that the adult guideline daily amount of salt is only 6g (Food Standards Agency)

Therefore, divers should moderate their intake to one pinch! Don't want you to become hyperactive

Glad you had a nice time down south.

If your weighting was a bit light you obviously needed another stage

As for the silt it's well known that Force Fins are the only fins in the whole wide world that stir up the muck and as you were the only FF user you must have swum back into the silt you'd stirred up on your first circuit

1 pinch = 6 pack of Walkers finest?

That's 3 on the drive down and the rest on the drive home.

Now am just about isotonic

He has done - was my buddy for Lochaline!

Had to do something though, me and Bev were stuck on a bunk in the corridor, and you lot keep wandering in and out of our 'bedroom' at some ungodly hour wanting to get to the loo?
