Tdi Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures with Dive24-7 tenerife

As some of you may remember three of us started our IANTD Advanced Nitrox course last July but the instructor was messing us around How long should a course take? and What to do what to do?.
We ended up getting our money back and Johnny said did we want to go Tenerife to do it there with TDI after he had read rogervikings report.
We arrived on the Friday evening in to the apartments we had booked they were ok but basic which kinda suited us cos we werent going to be there that often anyway.
On the Saturday morning David and Nicky picked us up bright and early, with the introductions out of the way we got down to the lectures and the subsequent exams
The following day there was a bit more lectures and exams but we got those out of the way and went downstairs to get our kit together or as David put it 'How have you got that there? '
We soon got our stuff together under Davids instruction and help and away we went diving to do some skills
I wont bore you with all the skills (mainly cos i cant remember the exact schedule) but there were plenty of mask removals and shutdowns. We had to send up a blob each on each dive and even though we use them here at home diving we were making a complete mess of it with me trying to inflate the blob on my back and johnny practicing knitting with his mine and Pauls lines.
After the important sixth dive we were told we had qualified and there was relief all around ,the following day we went out to Grouper Ridge it goes deep, theres a slope which we didnt see the end of it just kept going!! We saw a huge shoal of barracuda and plenty of groupers one of which was the size of a chest of drawers!!!
We did one more dive on the Thursday and it was the Meridian, its a wreck which is nice to do after all the reefs during the week
We all went out on the Thursday night for an indian and then on for a drink or three including some karaoke we ended up getting home after four.
Some pics are here

As Johnny said on the Friday when we said goodbye 'We came to get instruction and left after making two good friends'
Id recommend David and Nicky to anyone for any course they are thinking of doing, the instruction is great the viz is great and they have a great setup. If we were trying to get the course done in Ireland we would still be trying to get out
Thanks again to Nicky and David ,
We'll be back so you better get training

Is Nicky Scottish? I remember a Scottish Nicky at Atlantic Divers in Tenerife.

Scottish/Irish/Welsh - it's all the same innit? Seriously, well done on passing your course - and for being so patient with the other guy - it all came good in the end
