Come along to my awareness day and have a go in my Mares Quattros. I'll show you how to fin with your legs up a bit so that you can fin silt-free in any fins. I'll also show you how to hover upside down to take photos.

oh finning around WITHOUT kicking stuff up and hovering in any position is easy. It's doing it all WHILST kicking stuff up I've been learning today. It's astonishingly easy with the right equipment configuration |

Stroke buoyancy and trim consists of doing an hour of stops flat on your back holding a reel and blob, reading a book (alternate pages as they tend to disintegrate as you turn them) and looking at your computer every ten minutes or so to see how the deco's going. In the working stage of the dive buoyancy and trim consist of hanging on to the wreck like grim death because we're on springs, slack lasted about four minutes and we've a new shot of 'lime in the can so it must be good for four hours trying to memorise a rivit pattern by feel because it might id this pile of scrap despite the zero vis. Probably solo because you lost them before half way down the shot. Last edited by nigelH : 24-04-08 at 08:29 PM. |

However, I thought that YBODs didn't work that well when on your back

You can't do both. The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |
