kit - every diver must have a snorkel and split fins
config - anyway you fancy on the day
smoking - no throwing dog ends in the water
fitness - be able to carry 4 portions of cheesy chips and 2 coffees the length of the car park
minimum qualification - bubble maker

If there is anything I have missed please feel free to add.
What about the colour rule? Laurie, I'm surprised you forgot this....!

There must be yellow, plus one other colour. Grey is not a colour and nor is black or white for these purposes. The other colour must clash. But we don't care. Its not a fusking competition or something.

What about the hose length rule? Laurie......tsk......

Your hose can be any length you want, from foot socks all the way through thigh-length hold-ups to full 200 denier body shapers. If wearing trousers these can be short or long. Comes under config really. We dont care.

I am surprised at these glaring omisions in Lauries' list She obviously needs to do a basic stroke review.

tut tut. surely you know that at least one major kit config change must be made during the course of every diving trip. preferably during the dive itself, so long as this can be completed in an unsafe manner

Sorry for what I missed, but people just do not appreciate how much there is to learn to dive DIS. My ommissions just go to prove how these days would be an invaluable training tool.

Come along to my awareness day and have a go in my Mares Quattros. I'll show you how to fin with your legs up a bit so that you can fin silt-free in any fins.

I'll also show you how to hover upside down to take photos.

oh finning around WITHOUT kicking stuff up and hovering in any position is easy. It's doing it all WHILST kicking stuff up I've been learning today. It's astonishingly easy with the right equipment configuration

Popular misconception by GI3's bitches.

Stroke buoyancy and trim consists of doing an hour of stops flat on your back holding a reel and blob, reading a book (alternate pages as they tend to disintegrate as you turn them) and looking at your computer every ten minutes or so to see how the deco's going.

In the working stage of the dive buoyancy and trim consist of hanging on to the wreck like grim death because we're on springs, slack lasted about four minutes and we've a new shot of 'lime in the can so it must be good for four hours trying to memorise a rivit pattern by feel because it might id this pile of scrap despite the zero vis.

Probably solo because you lost them before half way down the shot.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.
