South Shields, ice cream and a life sized chicken.
Did my first UK sea dive on Sunday!

Went to Browns Bay, and had a fantastic time with the proscuba gang!
The sea was very flat and still. Quite a few other divers there aswell.
Getting in and out of the water was.....interesting, lots of slippy rocks and steps.
saw lots of little starfish and some big ones, vis was pretty good, saw some crabs too! Only managed one dive tho due to the tide, but i was well up for a second one!
found a nice wreck there too.

Mannaged to swallow a fair bit of salt water in one point in the dive, wasn't very nice at all!

after that we went for some chips and sat on the beach and watched people with metal detectors digging up bottle caps

then a drive onto the coast to south shield. where we wento to Marsden grotto, had a drink, and went scrambeling on rocks at anothe beach.
then had an icecream and walked along the cliff top as she sun came out.
Then we were playing gymnastics on the grass, that was interesting lol

Then we found an life sized chicken !!haha

A very fun filled day!!

A good day out..
Even though it's probably only 10mile from my house I've never dived there, must do it soon!

All sounds good, well apart from the South Sheilds bit - funny lot they are, best left to their own devices if you ask me

there is a park next to where we were parked, so i went on the swings in my drysuit :P
