Obviously being medically minded and used to seeing things which would surprise and shock some of the more delicate YDers I could be in a position to offer advice but, unlike Steve, I can't operate blind so could you please supply photo's of the affected area upon receipt of which i'll retire to a darkened room to analyze them and offer my advice

Before you start, suggestions of flame-throwers, turps and drimmels, will not be entertained. Nor will it be videoed.

Thank you

Di

Do you have a friendly local stoma care nurse at your nearest hospital? You're sticking on with stoma product glue so you need some

Salts Healthcare - WipeAway™ Adhesive Remover

Hello

Before you ask how I know this, I'm a Pharmacist, so I deal with these things all the time.

Hollister do adhesive remover pads Hollister - UK: - Continence Care Products they might even send you a free sample.

A lot of my patients use these to clean off the glue residue. They used to do a spray one as well - not sure if this would dissolve the glue on and 'in situ' device, but might be worth asking about - their helpline people are really good, so might be worth a call

Cheers

Edit: vonny beat me to it with the salts product - very similar if I remember correctly. I still can't believe I gave a serious answer on a thread like this.....
