Trefor Pier - On the second day
Following on from JohnK’s trip report.

Fantastic weather. Best vis I have ever seen on the North Wales coast 6-8m
We did 2 dives one just after low water and the other just before high, only a bit of current on the second as my buddy and I drifted across to the breakwater to get out. Loads of life, as usual, pipe fish, crabs, squid, and a cuckoo wrasse protecting a 'nest'. My personal highlight was following a free-swimming octopus which when I saw me trying to follow puffed out a small cloud of ink and jet propelled itself off into the distance.

It will be sad when the pier finally falls down and the seabed returns to a desert, as all the local council has done is put up a fence to stop people from going on the pier. Which even a dog to get around.
