    Oh My God

    Not a full trip report, but just done my first ever wet, blue water dive.

    Just did Xlendi Bay. But I'm hooked! It's so odd diving wet!!! But fan-bloody-tastic!

    Saw lots but the highlight was the flying gurnard. It opened it's wings! the electric blue on it's wings was awesome! Got pics, but they'll have to wait for the full trip report at the end!

    I won't do this every day, so don't panic or get me barred. Just wanted to share the joy I've felt in my first ever wet, blue water dive! It was awesome and I'm bowled over. I'm in love. With the sea!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm really pleased for you, Gurnards are very pretty. Now sit down, take a big breath and say to yourself... "I can survive without YD for 5 or 6 days" ... trust me tghis illness can be addressed but it's a bit like smoking the 1st 2 or 3 days are the worst. So switch off the computer and go and enjoy the sunshine. In a weeks time you will be regretting the time you spent indoors.

    Wet - on the surface in the rain getting changed into your "drysuit".
    Blue - with cold
    Water - dilute mud...
