    Manacles last sat.

just a thanks to Lou and the rest as we 'jumped in' at the last minute on 'dive pussy' had a great dive on the mohegan and the hera, and got a free pasty!!
cuttles, pollack, and those vicious tompots everywhere.. no mermaids though
gary fox / dive action are excellent, not a single arguement all day - something wrong there!
not many from yorkshire though - shame , he he
    cheers.

Hello! Glad you had a nice day. Sunday was good too, with flatter water - did you get out on the Rib on Sunday despite the further shenanigans of the club?

I was waiting for someone to do a trip report before I added to it. Nice meeting you both, are you the one I spent a fair bit of time chatting to or was you the quieter one?

Saturday we woke up and looked out the window to check the seas and they looked ok, well no big white horses at least so that was a good start.
Arrived at the car park in the marina and gradually I started to see faces I recognised and then Lou and Caroline turned up and were shocked how punctual the group was.
We loaded the boat and met our skipper Gary who was extremely funny at times.

The first dive was the Mohegan Scuba Diving And Shipwrecks: Submerged
and viz was probably about 5-8 metres. The easterly wind that had been blowing all week had messed up the viz slighly but it did not detract from an enjoyable dive. The water was a bit choppy which did have an impact on a couple of people on board who shall not me 'outed' by me.

After eating an enormous Cornish Pasty which I am sure we could have taken a kilo each off our weight belts! we then dived the Hera Scuba Diving And Shipwrecks: Submerged

Back to the B & B to get ready to meet for an aperitif before our thai meal which went down lovely, also great to see Odin and Neil P who came for a drink. Despite not having to be up too early for the next days ropes off my buddy and I headed back earlyish.

Dive three was to be the wreck Volnay Scuba Diving And Shipwrecks: Submerged
a very silty wreck but treasures seen was an enormous (length of my 2 hands wrist to wrist) wellington type boot amongst the wreckage and.

The last and final dive was to be a wall dive on Wankers Wall which is a pinnacle that is covered in dead mans fingers and jewelled anenomes of colours of blue, orange, pink, yellows and as there was a little current running the anenomes were out feeding. My buddy was excellent spotting lots of nudibranchs of various types which I would have missed with my dodgy eyesight .

Thanks to Lou and Caroline for arranging the trip and hope the puss' willy is now better and clear of crystals.

Yes, i'm the handsome chatty one!!!
yes, we did go out on the rib on sunday, but only just out of the harbour, some of the other guys did turn up as did 3 other local guys.
we dived the epsalon (i think??) about 20m - saw a nice cuttle, lobster, loads of brittlestars everywhere 10m viz. good dive but we didnt hang on for the second dive as we had to get back.
i wasn't going to mention saturdays pukers!!! he he he. i know its wrong but it does make me laugh, especially as it was the fellas and ALL the ladies were hard as nails eating their pastys as their fellas chuck up - priceless.
but - it was rough when we got to the mohegan and i think gary was close to pulling it, but to his credit he let us all make our own minds up.
it was my first dive on the manacles and on 'cornish pussy' and i hope i get to see more of both ' ahhem.

Thats because we are the stronger of the sexes and it appears not only are you "handsome and chatty" [Quote] you have sense as well. An extremely rare occurrence getting all these characteristics in one male

Thanks Lou and Caroline, great days diving, you may have thought the viz was below its crystal clear clarity but compared to the Clyde it was like Egptian blue ...

Here are a few photos of the cuttle fish that Leakybreather found on every dive ... and of course the team photos

    Mum

    Dad
