    A good, happy day.
    Oily calm off Brighton.

We took both RIBs out to 'The City of Waterford'.
Six in our boat and eight in the other.
8 miles virtually due south (so nine quid).
The Sentinel wasn't too bad for RIB diving and even the VeeCam didn't flood for a change.
Vis was only three or four meters but you can't have everything. It was still quite light at 30 meters.

    PS.

Like an idiot I left my weight belt down at the Marina and one of the divers recognised it as mine and tucked it under the boat cover then phoned me.
So I walked back down, found it, put it on and walked back again.
15Kgs so about two and a half stone.

Every overweight person I saw on the hike back up the cliff path was a hero.
I just cannot imagine doing that every day by choice.

Blowing an hooley at Falmouth. We got two nice dives in, but within the Carrick Road / channel. Saw loads of stuff, so they certainly were wasted dives. In the open area facing due south the waves picked up to about 4 or 5ft in the afternoon.

Today was binned on Wave Chieftain out of Mylor. Some of the mob went over to Newquay to play on Atlantic Diver?, but was 16:00 start, getting too late for me.

All after getting Digger to come down too

Get lost, the lot of you. We've just been blown out in Norfolk after a 300 mile round trip, and almost got sunstroke driving back home with no air con!

Derek, pick a dive site West of you, no strong sun on you either on way there or on way back. Spoken from another with no air con.
I'll meet you at the cemetry gates

I know, but I was trying to complete the Sesearch stuff I did last year. Thats now three attempts to get the dives done. I'll try Plymouth next time - lol.

But what an absolute bitch... gorgeous day today and not bad yesterday, and no diving.

We are just back from an evening Chesil dip.

The good news: It was flat calm and lovely vis

The bad news: My inflator hose split completely and my jacket filled with water.

Still, it was a nice dive! And we saw Ben Lostdiver in the Covehouse Inn afterwards.
