EXTRA DIVERS-MARSA ALAM, Three Corners Feyrouz Hotel (10/06/09)

Just wanted to post a quick report on Extra Divers operating out of the 3 Corners Feyrouz hotel in Marsa Alam.My other half and myself have just spent 2 weeks diving with them and loved every minute.They are a German operation and have only this year taken over at the 3 corners hotel.I'm posting this really as a thankyou to Mathias the owner for the level of service that his crew provided over the fortnight. We very nearly booked with Emperor before we left but to be honest the '2 dive trips by boat' setup didnt really appeal to my other half who somedays would like just 1 dive in the morning and the afternoon frying on the beach(or the other way round).
The thing with extra is that they are on the private hotel beach and offer one hell of a choice.They do a 1 dive minibus trip leaving at 8-30 am which is back for 11-30 and another leaving at 1-30 pm,back for 4 ish.Or you can do the 2 dive boat trip leaving at 8-00 am and back for 4 ish.The trips go every day regardless of how many people are on them.2 of us went to Elphinstone no probs with the boat to our selves.
But for me the biggest surprise was the house reef.Ive had to battle with my conscience b4 writing this as it really is a special little place,and hopefully can stay this way for the forseeable future................tbc (lunch time over)

Fantastic place was out there in May for two weeks, house reef was the best I have ever seen,turtles,sharks you name it it was there.

Nice drop off we went down to 35mtr fantastic shore diving.

Everyone knows about it now..

we dived with extra at the braka bay in marsa alam

exellent set up very professional they would put a lot of english run dive schools to shame

i wouldnt think twice about recommending them to anyone

also the house reef was superb

I am going on the 23rd Sept, i emailed extra divers and got a two page reply with prices, details, offers the lot.
