today at swanage (4/7/09)

not really much of a trip report, more of a brag to rub it in anyones face who didn't go diving today

parking space on the pier: check
coffee and toast at Fortes: check
3 laps of the Fleur De Lys then a drift with 7/8 meres viz, 17 degrees for 45 mins: check
greasy hot dog and chips for lunch: check and check
45 mins on the kyarra (i only had a 12 litre ) with around 10 metres viz and 17 degrees at 30 metres: hell yeah, check!

i would post pics but i'm too whacked, do i rinse the kit or leave it and go diving tomorrow and then rinse it? hmmmmmm

big thanks to Razza for buddying with me again, anyone toying with the idea of diving around swanage tomorrow, do it!

Thanks for buddying me too. It was an enjoyable day

The viz was great today, I would leave the kit and go out again tomorrow, although I find Sundays very busy.

and Ray, it came out as 13.4 my sac rate for the kyarra dive, tide was running just a bit though, and I was playing around with the grab-a-crab 2000. I reckon 11-12 isn't inreasonable to try and do next time, if we do it at slack!
