Diving this weekend - North....ish, Just had St Abbs cancelled

    Hi all.
Desperately trying to find some diving for this weekend, we had been booked in at St Abbs for the weekend but the skipper has rung this evening and cancelled it due to weather / forecast.
6 of us had planned to go, 3 experienced and 3 ocean divers so looking for max 20 mtrs, is anyone aware of any spaces north ish would be good. Not sure if anything is running out of Eyemouth or Seahouses this weekend, have left messages on various skippers answering machines, but thought id ask around here.
Back up plan is a weekend at capers.
    Regards

There were 6 of us going out on Glad Tidings with William Shiel tomorow, but one has dropped out.

I've just spoken to William and we're definitely good to go with ropes off at 9.30am. If you give William a call he might be able to fix you up.

Got sorted with William thanks, He's going to put a 2nd boat on, which is very good of him. Thought I'd reply here with that info, as the 2nd boat might mean he has some spaces available if anyone else was interested.

We ended up having a great weekends diving, weather topside was nice and sunny, viz was around 4/5 metres depending exactly where we went in, managed 2 dives on both days.

i was on the same boat on Saturday. We did one dive against the rocks were the seals were hauled out; and the second dive about 200yds away on a wreck the name of which I forget. Both dives 22 - 25M.

    I would dispute the 4/5M figure. I'd say nearer 6 or 7.

    Temperature was 5 or 6.

    mmmmmmm.... scallops...
