<font color='#736AFF'>We enjoyed our unplanned trip to Trearddur bay last weekend so much that we have decided that we might do again on sunday just for fun (no training just a nice little dive). So last &nbsp;sunday we ended up at a place that Bren Tells me is called Bog Bay (near the valley of the rocks campsite).

Question is, where is best to go for shore diving in this area and does anyone have any links to sites that have info.

Bren mentioned that there are three dive shops for fills and I think we only found two of them (the one at the Valley of the rocks campsite, which was shut, and the one facing another bay near the sailing club with the £5 a day car park) &nbsp;so where is the third? Any other local knowledge appreciated. like where to eat other than burgers!

cheers buddies

Jules &nbsp;

There are I am sure only two air shops in T/bay, both you have mentioned.

Porth Diana is he bay outside the Mike Mcgee's diveshop, yes carparking is £5 per day but convenient. &nbsp;Make sure you don't park on the road (some people do) and the police are always about. &nbsp;You can park up the road around the bend. &nbsp;However there are no facilities there the only loos are on the promanade or at Porthdaffach (probably where you were last week). &nbsp;

Don't quote me but I think high water is about 11am on Saturday.

Sorry Jules,

I think I said &quot;two or three&quot; dive shops in Trearddur Bay - sorry if I mislead you . Here's the necessary anyway:

http://www.ateal.co.uk/dsa/

http://www.diveanglesey.co.uk/

http://www.menaisubaqua.org/sites.html

The 1st one is 'Mike's' where you dived just in front of his shop (car park £5 a day).

The second one is Martin's and he's the guy who is happy to stay open late (but NOT open early in the morning!) so we can get fills.

The third one I can't comment on but have no reason to speak ill of them.

Hope that helps.

Hope you have a good weekend if you are still going to T/bay, if you are diving in Porth Diana outside Mike's Dive shop please remember to use an SMB as there are a lot of RIB's about when they come in to pickup and get air fills. &nbsp;(I don't want to run you down) &nbsp;as I am there with my club this weekend.

Happy diving

We use Mikes Dive Shop as we normally pitch tent at Tyn Rhos Camping Site
just 1/4 mile up the hill. Being an orthodox tight arse never pay the £5 parking fee but park just around the bend up the hill about 200-300 yards away and never failed to find a space yet. As regards toilets Tyn Rhos Camp Site as above make no check on persons visiting.
If you are into camping can recommend the site as its covers acres and has a splendid showers block and separate toilet block.
We bar-b-q/self cater but there are good 'chippies and chinese in Holyhead quite close by.
Must go now and get my packing done for Malta :-)
