| erm, just had a nice evening splodge, just got home. A few times a year, if the tides are bad or weather crap. On a nice day it can be glorious. On a cold day in December when it's throwing it down, it is'nt.

| Dotty. Just the once so far. I will be going back. Would recommend getting advice/orentation/maps etc. ideally from someone who has been before. Not a place to cock up, but really cool, non the less. I mean really cool, we went through three thermoclines in late summer, surface temp at the entry was 12 degrees ish, at 25-30 metres it was 5 degrees. Take care Steve |

| I was there last week. 1st time. Will be going back. Previous good advice. Go with some who knows the site and get the map produced in 1998 which is posted about. We would not have found the 22m swim through with out it. Thermoclines were steep. 18°C on the surface; 7°C below about 15m. We also did the hut on the 40m shelf. Great day out. Regards Nick

| Quite often, go regulary mid week and also go for a deep dive before a trip. i was there last night with JamesP. It was well worth the trip as i am of next week to dive the Illinios and whilst kitting up my main reg decided to keep going of on one. So we salvaged the dive with my low deco reg (using that on the twins) and my 02 reg on the 50% deco bottle, as the dive was only a 1 deco tank dive it was still doable. I would not have had this option on the Illinios dive as i need 2 deco tanks. So at least i have a week to sought the reg out now before the trip. |

| I go about once a month, nice for playing with new bits of kit. I like it because there is no-one telling me what I can and cannot do and I don't have to pay a tenner to get in. The lack of (so called) facilities is a big plus for me. Maybe I'm daft but I'd rather take responsibility for how I dive than relying on a boat crew on the surface... no rescue boats on site in the real world. And another moan... who has put all the crappy openwater guidelines in and the fifty thousand marker buoys??? I stripped out about 100m of polyprop off the bottom last weekend. Learn to navigate FFS!!!!!! It isn't hard, it's a quarry afterall!!!!
