| The bay opposite the Dive shop? Always good for a shore dive, head out through the gullies on the left if you want for a scenic dive. Or, head out one side of the bay, cross over than back in the other? The gully dive rates as one of my all time favourites so far. |

| Porth Diana/Porth Castell, opposite Mikes Dive Shop is a nice easy dive when the tides in, go through the gully to the left and bear left to dive a nice wall/rock face, or go around the island. ![]() |

| http://www.ateal.co.uk/dsa/DiveAnglesey/default.html http://www.diveanglesey.co.uk/ We have had some great shore diving on Holy Island which offers a variety of sites. One of the best is opposite Diving Services Anglesey (first website)with easy entry off the beach and of course air fill readily available. There is even a tap in the forecourt outside the shop where you can wash off the gear at the end of the day. You can pay for parking and leave the car in the area at the side of the shop but this is against my religion (orthodox tightarse) so we park for free up the hill about 200 yards away. There is also a very good campsite on the end of that road which we use as we normally go for about 5 days at a time. A good guide to the area is :- Underwater Guide to North Wales (vol 1 Barmouth to South Stack) by Chris Holden - ISBN 0-9545066-0-X . Oddly enough I got my copy from Tollhouse Books at Holmfirth.

Or... take a bearing for the big grey house on the opposite side of the bay (It'll be about 330 degrees), and swim out to the big rock you hit about 150-200yds offshore. Loads of things to see and lobbies by the dozen. Done both dives, excellent. |

| Or, actually dive the bay that is under the Haunted House, it's a cracking shore dive, head out to the rock islands, and there is a nice wall on the other side. |

| Virtually anywhere around that part of the island is good shore diving. There are RIBs available too - ask Fiona for Digsey's contact details.
