Insurance Advice Please

Hi,

We are off to Capernwray next week for the first time so I thought I'd better check into our insurance.

Our Annual insurance policy does actually cover us for diving and is adequate for our hoiday trips abroad at the moment......

However we would not be covered for Capernwray because we will not be away for three days it is not considered a "trip".


What cover do I actually need in the UK? is it necessary?

If so where can I pick up some Diving accident insurance rater than travel insurance (we've already got that) for a reasonable price?

Reason being I thnk we'll be lucky to get two or three single days a year in with the kids at the moment - the rest of our diving will be on holiday.

What are you wanting to cover witht he insurance? What do you want it to pay out for?

In the UK you do not need insurance for medical or emeregency service so that only leaves you covering your kit against loss, if you want to, and ensuring that your life policies etc would still pay out if you died diving.

No it's just accidents whilst diving and death etc...... I just don't want to get slapped with a huge bill for medical care if we need assistance for DCI etc.......

If I don't need it that's fine.
