Has anyone dived at the national diving and activity centre chepstow area
how busy would it be on saterdays or sundays our club is based in birmingham so it would not be to far thanks oceanobsession

Search for NDAC or Chepstow and i think you'll find hundreds of hits of it.

As for busy on weekends if the weather means the sea is blown out yes its packed often.

You may end up waiting 20 mins or so to get to the water from car park and maybe an hour for fills if you catch it just wrong.

Vis tends to be lower in the shallows on the sunday due to 3 days of students kicking it up.

Its a good site but can be absolutely packed on weekends so be prepared to wait a bit every now and again.

DiverDJ saw the sea in a book once
String is right when the sea is blown out it does get very busy.

Great site though well worth a vist.

wont argue there.
haven't been there myself but i've heard about the crowds and the queues outside the gates at 6 in the morning

I think it's one of the best sites in the UK right now. The recent attractions going in and the quality of service by comparison to the service at other managed sites is leagues better.

If I was based in Birmingham I'd probably be doing Stoney one weekend and NDAC the next. Purely proximity though - I can gte to Stoney in 35 mins or Chepstow in an hour and a half.

Worth the drive, and worth the dive.

Not sure about students, but I don't think you'd have any trouble finding a quiet spot for training. I love doing deeper stuff there and coming back over the 20m shelf for a nice long deepish stop.
