Diving in North Cornwall - Newquay/Padstow

Hi,
Off on the family holiday in a couple of weeks to North Cornwall (nr Padstow). We might be able to get a days diving in and wondered if anyone had any recommendations of shuttles or boats which operate in this area?

Thanks Sally

Atlantic Divers operates out of Newquay and takes singletons, if there are spaces etc.

some great wreck diving at all levels.

I am sure we will be eating plenty of pasties while we are there

Thanks for the info I'll have a look at Altantic Divers and see if he has any spaces - although some of his sites look a tad deep for me.

Dive sites in North Cornwall start from 6m, as most of Atlantic Divers bookings are charters you have to go where they take you, usually 40-50m stuff.

Until my boat trailers brakes are fixed, your best bet is to contact Hutch, Harlyn Dive School. He has a rib moored at Rock (Opp Padstow) and mainly goes to the shallower sites, like Newlands Reef (35-0m), Sphene wreck (30m max), Runswick (25-6m), Arthurtown (15m) etc. All within a few minutes of Padstow.

When are you down? Mark might have spaces (often out of Mylor) or we might be able to get him to do a north coaster if we got enough people.

Yes 40-50 is a bit out of my comfort zone. I like the sound of Harlyn Dive school particularly as we are staying in Polzeath which is only round the corner. I'll give them a call and see if they have any trips and spaces.
