| Yes, you can on a 5060, also if you use RAW format, no CB is done so you can tinker with Photoshop or whatever. r Paul |

| you definitely can on the 5050... SCH posted a thing about it recently and it's very straightforward. see here http://www.digitaldiver.net/lib_docs...te_balance.pdf It seems to make a lot of difference (we were goingto play with white balance this weekend but viz was nil so didnt dive at all )Also see this thread http://www.yorkshire-divers.co.uk/fo...ad.php?t=10099 Jules

| I used manual white balance to great effect on my 5050 in Plymouth a while ago. As for choosing between the 5050 and 5060, read this: http://www.wrotniak.net/photo/c5050/c5060-compar.html Note that in April I found it pretty difficult to find a new 5050 as they are out of production now. There are also some concerns about the Olympus housing PT020 for the 5060. Links on this page: http://www.splashdowndivers.com/pho...ipment_5060.htm

| As mentioned, you can adjust WB on both cameras, the manual says at a distance af about 1m, so it has to be a pretty big object, a slate is way too small, this is the reason I have never tried it. (and Scapa is green in real life anyway!!) James
