Dave, I have the Canon A75 that I am going to be taking with me to the Red Sea on Sunday. Which setting did you have the camera on, because as you know there is a specific ‘underwater’ setting.

I just left the white balance alone, kept the camera on shutter priority, and moved the shutter speed up and down until I got a decent exposure. Normally around 1/125 for the close-up stuff. For wide-angle or distant stuff, I didn't bother with the strobe or flash, just turned to aperture priority and used the available light. Not great, but my strobe wasn't strong enough to be of any use at any distance.
Have a great time, and good luck with the pics. Any quality pictures are still fantastic memories.
