| Just a few pictures I put the links to these pics at the end of the appropriate reports for each dive trip, but I know my reports do tend to send people to sleep before they reach the end. I thought that I would put the links here as well so that people can see the pictures without the effort of dragging themselves through my text. They're not brilliant, but some are ok. | You've got a great eye for this - love the two bait ball ones Th white balance on the background of one or two of them seems a little washed out - I assume you're using a digital - what model ?

| Thanks for the feedback, and the compliments. It's a Canon A75 with the Canon housing and an Epoque ES-150 DS strobe. It's been ok for snaps, and a few, like some of these, have come out quite well. But it is limited, especially the strobe. I found that I was unable to use the camera on an aperture priority setting , which I would have preferred, because the strobe just didn't have the power to match it. As a result, I've had to use shutter priority, dialling up and down until I got a result. The strobe battery compartment eventually flooded and ruined it, after only 50 dives, so I've decided to move on. I've just managed to get my hands on a second-hand Olympus 5050, and bought an Ikelite housing, along with an Ikelite DS-125 strobe, which will allow full TTL metering. We'll see how it goes. David. PS. This will mean that the Canon and housing will be up for sale, if anyone's interested. |

| great! David I love the sea of cortez ones, the bait ball ones are great. Interesting that the epoque strobe flooded. I hear from some sources that they are good for the money but others say they flood easily, I guess you sit in the latter party! The 5050 is great, a few of us on here have them and love them. They do well in low light so you might get awy without a strobe in some situations. Looking forward to seeing more of your pics soon Jules
