Underwater Video
I'm have been thinking about underwater video for a wee while now. I have had a look around and have come the this conclusion:

A Panasonic NVGS120B and a Seapro (Greenaway Marine) housing to go with it.

Has anyone used any of these items and what are their thoughts...good/bad/whatever!!!

don't mean to hijack, but I have a housing and lighting system for sale - I could do this for a very good price.. Camcorder could be included for the appropriate money..

Kirky,

The housing is £975 and I have found the camera on the net for anything from £449 to £599.

To soon for me Wilbo, I have got to sell some of my existing toys to finance the video........

Trash....poorly constructed and overpriced....you would be better off looking for a length of yellow gas pipe on the roadside

Interesting...... I have had my housing (custom made by them) for nearly four years and been all over the world - Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia etc with it and had no problems with it whatsoever.... - yes, they are not cheap, but who wants cheap if it floods on you?

Seapro housing
Two years old and 70 dives without a fault.Optolite port best lens I have come across.You can be filming a ghost shrimp literaly touching the port then swing up to catch the Manta "flying" overhead with everything in perfect focus and no "hunting".Only downside is weight (5.5kgs without camera) and limited controls (manual rods only).That said I would buy another should I ever need to.
