| Dont get me wrong the fuji410 takes great photos as long as your not trying to photo stuff thats moving, the shutter lag just annoys the hell out of me. (It probably wouldn't bother other people) but it is the main reason why I am trying to change. Unfortuantely the fiance doesnt like the look of the Olympus and has a thing for fuji's which is why I've just started looking at the likes of the f810. What ever happens I need to get sorted by the 1stweek of Jan as were off to Sharm (makes up for having to work christmas eve and christmas day night. again).Mind you I think I've probably got a good collection of blurry fish buts on film Think it might be time to go and hassle the teenagers working behind the counters at dixons/currys etc then go and buy one somewhere decent instead. |

The mark 2 looks a lot less bulky I'd really like to see the results. I did post a series of shots when I tested mine onto DD.net but since deleted the pictures from my photobucket account. I didn't get a bag of jellies tho. But then did get it at a cracking price as I was the first to test it with an Inon strobe. |

| Have a read of some of the threads at www.wetpixel.com and www.digitaldiver.net. A few people on those forums have the f810 and from what ive heard they rate it - apparently shutter lag is close to dSLR standards. |

| Cheers for the info on that. been looking at prices for the 810 and have got it down to £259 and £120 for the housing. Time to see if I can get a go of one of them. |
