| Use the TTL to start with. Beware that what might not be bright enough for UK waters will be too bright in warmer climes. The DS125 is bullet proof and a great strobe - I assume you are using it with the slave controller ?? Also, leave the diffuser on at all times. unless the water is particularly black. If you are using the slave controller (activated by the camera flash) dont worry if the strobe flashes all by itself on sunny days - its actually the sunlight/ripples in the shallows activating the controller !! The modelling light is very useful on night dives - decent brightness - I actually used mine as a light during a cenote dive.
