Diving With your camera and strobe

Few people dive with a bigger heavier rig than me but I attach some blocks of high density foam (please don't ask - I don't remember where I bought it but I now have enough to last a life-time). This makes it neutral in the water. I use a length of 2.5mm webbing with a caribiner to a D-ring and a pinch-clip in the centre of the length for convenient attachment/detachment when I need to.
I rarely let go of the camera. That said, I have been caught in the channel at Roca Soucia in a very strong current with my long flash arms helplessly wrapped around me and I certainly needed two hands then.
