Smile Olympus C350 zoom

Hi folks, another numpty question for you's all.

I have a olympus c 350 zoom, and i've sussed out that i can buy an underwater housing pt 017 for about £80.

Question is, will this be able to take any kinda half decent piccys underwater or would it be a waste of £80?

I'm a novice diver, more interested in marine life than wrecks and not really wanting to spend loads on photography at the mo' as i still need to get a drysuit and diving comp.

Thanks for any help or advice offered.

I use the C50 Zoom and i guess it is similar to what you have, and yes it is worth spending the 80 squid on. These have all been taken with it have a look and decide.

Hope this helps

Same here with me, I use the C500z with housing. See the link below re tenerife pics.

There not the best but for the money the camera is good. It is also a camera to use on surface which is imp to me.

£80 for the housing is better then £300 for a new set up. Use what you've already got, its cheaper.
