| open your photo then go to layers new adjustment layer curves auto then same again but instead of curves use channel mixer mes around with colours then when satisfied with that try levels then selective colour there all under new adjustment layer once you get the hang of it it gets easier but its time consuming

| Saving levels, curves etc Hi Guys A tip if you're trying to retouch more than one pic (or want to try and describe how you changed something to someone else...) Once you've got a set of levels, curves or whatever you're using that you feel is about right simply 'save...' that set from within the levels or curves etc dialog box. This creates a file (which i would generally store with the set of pics) which can then be 'load...' (ed) back into another picture. (This will work with most of the various image correction tools.) It's also a good way of exchanging particular colour adjustment sets. For example rather than try and describe the way I've fiddled with say, the levels on a particular image I could simply email you the saved levels you could then try it in your images. Quite complex retouching can be automated in this way. |
