First attempt with the C5050

Hi all,

just got back this week from Puerto Galera, and have uploaded a few pics. Well more than a few actually, you'll notice that there are two pages of them. Anyway, have a look and let me know what you think. Some are not bad, some not so good, but give me a break, most of these things were absolutely tiny.

I'd be interested to know if anyone thinks these pictures are a bit dark. They looked fine on my laptop, but bloody awful on my PC.

David

PS. They are quite big pictures, sorry if they take a while to load. Try not to get bored waiting.

They are fantastic, what setup we're you using to take the photos?

Thanks for that. It's an Olympus C5050, with an Ikelite housing and Ikelite DS125 substrobe. It's a big lump of a housing, and the knobs aren't that user friendly, but I'll get used to it. This was my first attempt with the camera, the housing and the strobe, so I must admit that I'm quite pleased with most of the results.
I think the camera is probably quite forgiving with beginners.
