Silica Gel

Dos anybody no of a source for the little packets of Silica gel to put inside your housing?

Tried Jessops and decided I didn't want a second Mortgage!

You can reuse silica gel bags, of course. Just put them in the oven on a piece of aluminium foil and heat for 10-15 minutes at 110 degrees Celsius.

I put mine out in the sun to dry them out… not sure if that is in the manual, but it seemed to work.

RS are pretty good for delivery etc..

Alternatively camerasunderwater stock them.

My wife as a pharmacist used to be able to get silica gel in 500g (or thereabouts) tins. Sew your own in to bags or tie into stockings if your local chemist shop can help out.
