I killed my camera

Yesterday I flooded my camera at St abbs, it was pronounced dead by a team of diving photographic experts at the scene, although simon also helpfully observed that it was F**ked.

Reason: Rushing and lack of attention to detail, I had something trapped in the seal.

Gutted!

As Mike observed in Tenerife, I can't dive properly without a camera in my hand

Poor love, on the bright side you can get a c8080. Did you not do the bubble check, or is it too soon,

It was an Oly C5050Z... my pride and joy. I loved that camera and have had so many lovely pics from it...

Part of me thinks... spend a lot of money on an upgrade and the other part of me thinks... I love that camera and I know how to use it so look for another 5050..

Anyone got a spare one knocking around at home???

Sorry to hear this Jules. I fried my Sony in June & there's nothing quite like it to f**k up your day. Hope you get sorted soon.

Sorry to hear that Jules. On the bright side there must be a lot of used 5050's on the market these days. I'm sure someone will throw one after you...
