Hi Ben,

I did a google for strobes and your YD posting came up, I was wondering if you sorted out your strobe?

I must adimit the SL960D looks tempting for a happy snapper like me.

Like your web site by the way, which photo gallery software do you use?

The Maldives looks good as well, wouldn't mind going back myself.

£25 for a flash in an Otterbox:

4 quid for the loc line and pence for the bungee. I have now cut a diffuser from an old tupperware box and it works a treat. Have had it to 20m without any problems. Box rated to same depth as camera housing (30m). You can have a gazillion flashes for the same price as a proper strobe.

And the photos you get with it?

and this was the first time out with it so with more practice I might even get some quite good ones.

BTW the slave flash has a sensor on it which is fired by the main camera flash which you can see blanked off with black tape.

Flash was from eBay £14 and the Otterbox I can get hold of for you. None in stock at the moment as my supplier is out but hopefully the next week or so. The locline tubing you can get from Cromwell Tools www.cromwell.co.uk.
