| I use the 'heal' tool in CS which does a similar thing. However, doing removing backscatter to an image with more than a few 10's of blobs becomes very tedious and boring. Good luck!

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits. |

For big bits of odd backscatter I use the clone tool taking the colour etc from near the point I want to cover. Gloc has said its tedious if there is too much and I agree and wouldnt bother but occasionally on the odd photo if its just a single image in the pic just by touching up round the border of the image is enough to improve it for personal viewing. |

| The clone tool is a great tool but takes ages, using the history brush you can do large areas of negative space very quickly. Use a large brush for the main areas and then zoom right into the picture and do the tight areas with a smaller brush. You can tidy up the whole picture very quickly. I have attached two pictures one untouched with really bad back scatter and the same picture after I edited it. I removed the back scatter with the history brush I used un sharp mask and then enhanced the clolour with the colour balance in images. I think quite a poor picture ended up not to bad with a bit of playing. Im sorry im not sure how to attach the screens from CS, try to give it another go all the steps are there, sorry again. Ian. |
