Good camera and I'm sure your be happy with it.

Couple of bits of advice:
-O-rings are cheap, flooded cameras are expensive. If in any doubt use a new oring, so buy a spare or 2.
-Insurance is worth considering.

Basically I'm talking from experience and it was a sobering lesson. If an oring looks dodgy then a new one is a fraction of the cost of the camera. If it does flood, then insurance will get you a new one. House insurance isn't enough or holiday insurance, been there - tried that

Most home insurance will only cover a small amount for dive equipment and usually only against theft. I'm with Dive Master for the camera, but you have to have your dive kit insured too. The added advantage DM have is that I am covered for having to dump my kit in an emergency. When I asked about that with my house insurer they considered that "negligant" even though I pointed out it could be fatal not to ditch the kit!

I've also tried putting camera stuff on house insurance and that was a non-starter. You can put camera on and claim it fell in the bath, but no one will cover housing (apart from specialists) and with digitals nowadays if you replace either camera or housing you inevitably end up replacing both.

One last bit of advice, put your credit card under lock and key: it will be a strobe next, then a wide angle lens, then .........

Luton Camera Repair are the mutts nadgers for Olympus! They found my housing for my Oly 5050z when almost all hope had been lost... I'd heartily recommend them to one and all!

You got a good deal! Well done! Enjoy your camera!

Looks like they've sold out of 5060 but they are advertising the 5050 for £160. The 5050 is just as good, if your looking at this kind of budget. You would need to check you can get a housing of course.

I've got the 5050 and posted some pics recently from Red Sea.
