Question Wide Angle Lense

I have a Sancy Xacti C4 camera with EHS-400X housing and am looking for a wide angle lense.

The 55mm one on camerasunderwater is £200. Is this the sort of price I will have to pay or can anyone else recommend a cheaper alternative?

Mark.

I have seen cheaper wide angle lenses but I'm not sure if they need to be underwater rated.

The one on camerasunderwater says it's depth rated to 60m, so this would imply that they are depth rated.

I'll have to search on e-bay to see if they have any.

Specialist item for a small market so will be expensive. I was lucky with mine as it was a discontinued item so a fair wedge cheaper. I think you will have to bite the bullet or just keep an eye on Ebay and your fingers crossed.
