First underwater picture

Hi folks,

Just got back from a couple of weeks holiday in Malta & Gozo, whilst over there I did my AOW course with Maltaqua and did the underwater photography option. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole course, but particularly the photography. In the not too distant future I can see myself buying a camera and housing...just don't tell the missus

You can find a couple of the photos in My Gallery.

Cheers,

Jeff

Lovely jellyfish there arent many in the gallery so its nice to see some going in well done. Bubbles are nice too, love the simplicity of bubble pics. You'll have to do some UK stuff now!

Thanks, beginners luck me thinks.

I took about 100 shots some of them were total pants - but that was my fault, as I had a bit of trouble changing settings underwater. But towards the end I was getting a better idea of what settings to use and judging the distance to the subject.

I borrowed the DM's camera as he was testing out a new underwater housing for the shop. I believe it was an Olympus mu 700 with a Epoque ES-150 strobe.

Jeff

BTW does anyone recognise what type of jellyfish it is?
