Konica-Minolta DiMAGE X60

I've been offered a Minolta DiMAGE X60 and U/W housing for £150ish, but haven't been able to find any mention of the camera on the forums. Has anyone had experience of this camera, and is it a decent buy?

Just to give a bit of background, I'm looking to get into U/W photography, but only really dive on holiday (10-20 dives per year) so am not looking for a really serious bit of kit, I'm more interested in cost and value for money. I've also seen a few people mantioning the Oly C-5050, how does this compare, and would it be a decent buy at current prices for my needs?

Thumbs up dimage x-60

I have one - am pretty happy with it and you can see some of it's results in the members' gallery.
It's so tiny that it fits happily in a BC pocket - and does all the time....
Very simple to use and case "tested" in excess of 40m - no probs...
For your information Konica-Minolta no longer make cameras.

All the best

I wouldn't let that put you off, as I have always had Olympus digitals and to get any form of spare more than a year after the camera is discontinued is difficult. All digicams have a very short shelf life and are treated by the manufacturers as disposable, so its not a disadvantage that they don't make them anymore, just commercial reality of an overcrowded market place.
