If you have many images to resize, you can record a macro (Action) to apply these settings to a whole folder. HTH Steve |

| Or just use Image -> Image Size (CTRL-ALT-I). Make sure Resampling is turned on, set a resolution of 72dpi for screen use and set the image size in pixels (I tend to use 800x600). When you save, use the File -> Save for Web option, you can play with different formats and compression levels and get an on-the-fly preview. PM/eMail if you want more detailed help. Dom

| I'd agree with Dom on this as it's what I do when resizing and optimising images for the web. Works darn well but not so good when you then try and print the images. All the best Allie |

| what size should I resize them to to be suitable for posting in threads on here??

| You have bought CS2 and don't know how to resize images?!?! That's an expensive program for people who just want to mess around with images. You could have saved some money and just downloaded a program like Irfanview for free which will do simple resizing and editing for you. |
