Some images of lately... some of the last from Northern Norway p'raps?

As I'm about to move there won't be many dives done I suspect and if I do take pics these days I'm not keeping many due to the crap vis.
Anyway, I managed to fix some condensation inside my Epoque W/A lens so when I had a Belgian journalist visiting last week to inspect the Belgica I took some pictures of her and her husband for them to perhaps use in the articles due back home in Belgium.
Vis is so so, perhaps 8-10 meters, but it could be a lot worse with the algae spells we've had the last summers. Nothing this year so far though.

For some reason CS2 screwed up the copyright-action so it's too big but I haven't had the time to change it. So live with it.

Without further ado:

Marijke on the anchor

Inspecting the bow. While consentrating on keeping the fins still Marijke tended to get one-legged which is rather amusing when you look at the 70 pics I took.

Anchor again

While Marijke the Journalist interviewed the former owner of Belgica I took her husband Kris to Tjeldsund for a drift dive in the current. It really wasn't the intention but we got in at slack water so it ended up being the most effortless dive I've ever done in this sound. I'm pleased we found a few wolffish as these aren't seen too often in Belgium.

Rare pic of a Wolffish eating. This some sort of shell

Rather mean looking. Didn't like me at all

Cheers guys.

Though moving house in July I've still got to come back for some work to in August, and since Kate will be down south there's a sliiiight chance there'll be some diving done when I'm not working. When I finally go to Stavanger (hopefully before the baby is born) there'll be some paternal leave to go through with and then come late autumn I'm sure I'll be back in the water again. I've heard diving in the Southwest isn't too bad either.

Very nice pics, Kyrre. We're also having a plankton bloom. I spent from last Thursday evening until Sunday afternoon at a dive centre just south of the (Norwegian) border and we had about 25 m vis on a twilight dive Thursday evening but it had dropped to barely 10 m by Sunday. We're not supposed to have a plankton bloom at this time of the year as the nutrients in the sea are supposed to be exhausted but the nitrate level here is five times the normal level now, despite efforts to control it, so nothing is normal any more.
