Afternoon all!
A few months ago I could be found gloating on these boards at the impending prospect of spending a redundancy cheque irresponsibly whilst travelling around Oz and SE Asia.
Well, it is now your turn to gloat, as I'm back and have got the post-travelling blues

Still, I've got my photos to cheer me up - here's a few:
- found this cuttlefish at night, we were targetting fish with our torches for it to shoot after. Which was nice!
- another night photo, parrot fish having a kip - you can just about see the mucus sleeping bag it makes for itself
- Hawksbill turtle, found having a bit of shut eye in a coral alcove on Steves Bommie
- I like this one, he wasn't aggressive, well not much anyway.
- Not a huge one, but all the big buggers were fighting it out over a bucket of tuna heads the diveboat had chucked into the water. SS Taka 2, if you're interested - they do a 5 day liveaboard trip up the Great Barrier from Cairns, fantastic trip
- bit fuzzy this one, but at this time of year, the waters around Ko Phi Phi are chock full of plankton.
- my friendly divemaster told me this was called a 'Guardian fish' - mainly 'cause it would playfully attack the hand of the diver mischievious enough to wiggle his fingers at the eggs you can see stuck to that coral pinnacle thing. Great fun!
- one of the islands we dived around, could have been Ko Bida Nok, or Ko Bida Noi, can't remember. Worth a photo though!
So there y'are. I'll have to get me back to Thailand when the Similan Islands are diveable!
Cheers!
