Lulworth Cove - Sunday...

As the missus wanted to catch some rays, I took the opportunity to try out my new Canon Ixus 65 camera underwater off the beach at Lulworth Cove. After a bit of tarting around in Paintshop Pro, here's a selection of photos. Personally I'm very pleased with the results I got from what is a relatively cheap 'n' cheerful little setup...

Corkwing Wrasse...

Eel...

Colourful sea weed...

Nothing wrong with those fella they look great - really vivid colours. The colour correction "action" that dom legros recommends for photoshop is a great bit of kit that you can just st... *erm* obtain from the internet. Been using it on my El Gouna photos and it's crackin'

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

It was a choice between that or being bored rigid on the beach at Lulworth (not my thing). As it happens, I managed to find a small cylinder and reg which had managed to find its way into the boot of the car... still don't know how that got there....

Is Lulworth Cove the circular sort of bay with the beach area off to the left as you walk down the walkway? If so what sort of depth do you have there and can you just walk in off the beach? I'm curious as I'm down that way for a few days when I get back from Scapa.

Cheers.

Sorry, nice photos!

Sorry, nice photos!
Probably! It is almost entirely enclosed, and most of (but not all of) the beach is to the left. You come down between a little row of cottages/shops/cafes and there is a little jetty in front of you.

We just walked in off the beach, but you have to go to one side or the other as there is alot of boat traffic in the centre.

Jason , you can get the action here mate.

http://share.studio.adobe.com/axAsse...%2FDefault.asp

Been kicking around a long time this one, very very good for rescuing otherwise dodgy shots.

As always though, shoot in RAW if you can, then you have all the data to do just about owt (as they say in Yorkshire) with your pics.

Good pics btw, love the eel.

Cheers
