OK, I have a mate whose brother bought "something dive gear like" a a car boot sale. For £15.
It was a video housing, with a white plate in the bottom so you can screw any video camera on to it, which is great. Because my Dad has an old camera which I intend to nick off with.
Now, what I need to find out is what it is really, partly for parts/support, but also to try and get an idea of depth rating. Last thing I want is to break the video camera with water.
Basically it is a black plastic tube with flat clear ends on it. I found a website with pics on it but can't find it now, I think it started with Aqua... basically a blue webpage with bubbles on it. I could be wrong there, as it was a while back, but if I could find that it's probably not far off.
No photos as I don't have a digi handy. And I don't have the camera yet!
It also had 2 halogen dichroic lights on it, and a battery pack on the bottom. Don't know if this helps, but I imagine this will have been changed on later models as the yellow light isn't the best. But it will do me until I get good at this videoing lark!
Thanks in advance. You geeks
Digs.
