| I bought one last week! Land picture results are very nice. I don't have the separatre strobe though. I'll be taking it for a test at Vobster on Saturday so in the unlikely event of my not flooding it, I'll post any reasonable results in the gallery. |

| Well I spent all of the last weekend in the company of "The man from Fuji" at our LDS, who were running an underwater digital photo comp. Understandably they were pushing the new F30, which incidentally I have just bought. Basically the sales patter for the new F30 goes along the lines of: It has an ISO rating up to 3200, so there are fewer times that you will need a flash/strobe. This does appear to be true as I took a stack of piccies in a very murky Blue Lagoon (the inland site near Pickering, Yorks) and didn't need to use the flash once. All pictures came out well exposed. It has no noticable shutter lag - I can vouch for this, press the button and snap! Picture taken. It has an underwater preset scene mode that adjusts the white balance automatically and uses a the highest possible ISO. Overall I am very impressed by this camera and would fully recommend it. For a totally unbiased professional review and comparison to the F11 try looking here: Fujifilm FinePix F30 Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review I would post some sample pictures, but I'm at work right now and the piccies are at home. |

| If you have a look at my gallery, all my photos were taken with the F10, the main difference is that I can't set apperture priority. I think it is a very good camera and wouldn't upgrade it unless it was something worth upgrading too. My next move would have to be a DSLR setup which would cost over £2k!

| I bought the Fuji F30 and housing a few weeks ago and have just come back from a northern red sea liveaboard. I have posted some pics at Public Albums by - Tanya Sherwood All the photos under Red Sea Aug 06 were taken with the F30. They are straight off the camera...no editing, no photoshop. I was really happy with the results. The Thistlegorm pics were taken with no flash and although the results aren't amazing I doubt I would have got as good a result with any other compact digital camera (at ISO 1600). The photos under 'other diving pics' were taken with other cameras. Not sure what the price difference is between the F11 and F30 but its worth checking out. |

| Just got an F30 too I bought an F30 last week and took it for a play at stoney on Saturday, The viz as good as always and managed to take some quite good pictures the only negatives were from the poor quality of the photographer (having never taken a single underwater picture before saturday) The Shutter lag was not an issue, the screen was good and clear the images had very little noise as I took some pictures at 22m in the stanegarth with no flash or strobe and even they were ok. So far I have nothing bad to say about it, this is my 3rd Fuji camera as I use an S9500 for surface photography( of which I do know how to use, certainly compared to underwater) Lots more practice me thinks Mark

| Well I've taken your advice, got the credit card out & ordered a F30. I'm sure that if I'm not pleased with the camera that you'll guys will have a whip round to pay for it. Cheers |
