Frosty, I got a 2gb Fuji 40x write speed, compact flash card for £45.00 of ebay, had to wait a while as they were all around the £90.00 mark. its quick even when shooting in RAW.

Thumbs up Kingston elite pro (blue lable)

I use Kingston elite pro (blue lable) CF 1gig card and it is faster than the 64 meg cannon card that came with the camera, they are also garenteed for life.
I thorouly recomend it.

I've always found eBay to be the cheapest for memory cards. I've just bought a 2Gb Sandisk Ultra Memory Stick for £30 - less than a third of the prices I've seen elsewhere

i recently bought a sandisk ultra II CF card from ebay. shame it was a fake. got to give them credit though, it was a damn good copy. it was only because i own some genuine cards that i could tell.

7day shop is quite cheap.

I'd certainly recommend sticking with reliable, well-known branded cards - in Particular SanDisk Ultra II or III depending on how fast your camera can make use of. And obviously, ensure it's a reliable source! I've used www.cameraworld.co.uk - they've a real shop just off Oxford Street - a fair bit, also http://www.kvjfairdeal.com/ (real shop in Whitechapel) for odds and sods, cards, batteries, discs, tapes etc.
