I have dealt with them a few times, and they have always helped me with the best option for me, rather than the one which will make them the most money.

Except when i bought a strobe. The guy said... 'peice of advice... get rechargeable batteries'. The only AA rechargeable batteries I can find are 1.2v and it needs 1.5v to work. But then, they didn't sell me the batteries!
Same here. I wanted a High Def broadcast quality video and they said they could sell me one but told me to go down to Tottenham Court Road in London and I would get a better deal. They held a housing for me just in case I couldn't find one but I did. As soon as I got the camera I called them and gave them my credit card details and got the housing with the pro light system. Excellent service. If it worked for video then it must be the same for a stills camera.

The guys and girls at Cameras underwater offer fantastic advise and really couldnt do more to help if they tried. I have bought 4 housings from them over the last 5 years and have always been really pleased with what I have got.

The Fuji F10 is certainly worth considering as a digital compact especially for underwater use. It is available with a custom made housing from Fuji, is relatively small in size so that even in the housing it will fit into a BC pocket, it has an exceptionally long battery life (enough to last you a week's holiday on one charge) and most importantly, has an extra sensitive image sensor that is ideal for the sort of low light conditions you will find underwater.

Better still, it's well within your budget with camera and housing deals from as little as £299 - such as here -

Great Digital Deals - Fuji F10 Digital Camera *Scuba Package*

Definitely worth considering.
